Whilst working with CrowdSec you may find you need to create an organization to group or manage certain instances differently from others, for example you may want certain users to view alerts from a small group of instances.
PLEASE NOTE: This can all be handled through organizations, however, keep in mind that each organization is treated as a separate entity and is handled like so when it comes to quotas, plans and billing.
To start log into the console, and click on the + icon in the top right hand corner next to your user profile. Once the sub menu has appeared there will be an option to "Create organization", clicking on this will navigate you to the create organization form.
Once inside the create organization form you can enter the name and other information about the organization. If you have any enrolled instances you wish to transfer to the new organization you can also do this at this time. Also note this is not the only time you can transfer instances please see our guide here on how to do this afterwards.
Once you entered all relevant information and selected which instances you want to transfer you can click "Create organization now" button which will create and transfer you to the new organization.
